Training
I began my training initially as a modern dancer (Graham, Limon, Cunningham), and over time moved into physical theatre, movement for actors, musical theatre, devised and new work.
I weave anti-oppression practices into all that I do; my interest in liberatory practices continues to evolve. I make mistakes. I hope to continue to learn as I work with increasingly diverse collaborators and engage with the ever-shifting nature of creating new work.
Producer & Director
As a producer and director, I create new work in theatre, musical theatre, and dance with a focus on stories that bring historically marginalized and silenced voices to the forefront. As a trained specialist in movement and bodywork, I have seen the way that art has the capacity to heal. I believe that storytelling is an ancient practice that can be used to connect, transmute, and build relationships for a better world. I’m interested in genuine, cooperative artistic processes built on deep listening and financial models that empower shared benefits for all collaborators.
